Well these are some other ones that would be worth going to.
Beamed
This is NOT a search engine, but they will submit your page to HEAPS!!! of smaller engines for nothing/zero/zip/zilch!! (they also provided the free multi-submission above).

Netscape Search
Go to the bottom of the page and click on the submit a site link, then follow their instructions from there.

AskJeeves does not provide online submission from their engine, but this is the instruction info from their site (quote)"I welcome your requests to evaluate a web site. Please send me the URL and a brief description of the site via email . However, because Ask Jeeves links are created by human researchers, not by machine, I do not guarantee that we will put your URL into the Ask Jeeves database or that it will happen quickly. Google Search even gives option of adding their engine to your webpage and getting 3c each time the search is used - untried by me - but could be useful. Also allows a standard free submission of your URL.

Anzwers is an Australia & New Zealand engine, go to the bottom of the main page there and click on the Add URL link.

Yahoo! is also worth a visit, scroll way down to the bottom of their page & click onHow to Suggest a Site and follow the instructions there.

Another engine is GoTo but they charge there too.
